| GNOSTIC STUDY OF "I" | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
No 32 Let's see the second part of the "I" in its basic study; in this Gnostic study of the "I", the ego, we will see it very close. The modern concept according Mr. Freud we said is a group of psychic aggregates established in our five human centers. Since than the "I" it is bring us everywhere us slavering, and paying karma. Before we see its Gnostic analysis we have to review the difference between Gnostic and official psychology. Official psychology has the bases; "that", "super I", and the "ego". Basically, all of that has the same base; the "I". "That" is the subconscious; a deep instinctive and unconscious part. The super "I" it is said has the "that". This is the education, the moral, the religion, the society. Super "I: is contrary the "that". For example, the "that" can have sexual instincts very wild. However, the super "I" will stop the "that". During the sleeping hours the super "I" disappears; than, the ego is the intermediate mediator. A strong ego will control the super "I" as well as control the "that". A weak ego will be dominated by passions. Freud said a weak ego will create mechanism in order the society does not hurt it. For example, shyness, introvert ness, and so on. However, all of that even divided is the same "I". However, the Gnostic differs of that individuality "I". The "I", the ego definitively is plurality and the Being is the only real, true, and perennial. The Being is the entire contrary the "I" is; "I" is 100% false. The "I", the ego is totally adverse the divinity. The Being is the only capable to contact us with God. The Being is part of all the unity. The "I" belongs to the time, the Beings does not. The "I" is a group of psychological aggregates that personification our error due the ignorance. With knowledge and knowing about is the beginning for its decreasing. SAW explained "we get back with the product of our errors of the past; the essence has attached those errors". "A horripilate work of several chapters". Characteristics of the "I" Plurality The "I" is plural. The "I" are psychological persons living in ourselves. Clairvoyantly; seeing us in a mirror we will see our image multiplied several times. Some will be intellectuals, others sentimental, others motors, others peaceful, others angry, others lascivious, others lazy, others gluttons, others jalousie, others pride, and so on. At the proper time they will fight each other for the supremacy of our personality in order to control our organic machine. Due our sleeping consciousness we believe are unique. In the self observation is important to know the plurality otherwise we will not know when one is out, when other one is in and so on. Catexis Bound Catexis The "I" is energetic; simple if we see when we are angry, flattened, panicked. SAW called Catexis what it means energy. The official psychology uses also that term. However, SAW went beyond and explained the Bound Catexis; those are the energetic values of the essence and intelligence of the Being. Those forces revive by the meditation. And the psychological work guides our spiritual path. Those forces are asleep or now. Loose Catexis SAW explained that loose catexis is the energy the "I" s robbed from us. This energy executes the activities. This energy does what it wants in our organism. Free Catexis SAW explained that this energy is the muscle force; genetic force, nervous force. The Being nourishes from it, and this one is wasted dully by the "I". Mechanic The "I" is mechanic in a 100%. This is due the unconscious memory. This mechanist is verifiable when there is self observation in the intellectual, emotional, and motor centers. The "I" is mechanic because always goes from known to the known. Only the essence can go from known to the unknown. Hypnotic The "I" deceives us and make us to believe what is not real. Ego fools all the time. The "I" does an interior hypnotism. For example, it can make us to believe these studies are false including giving us a series of explications as far as it continuing everything the same. Even it fools us everything is Ok. Gregarious The "I" is gregarious because egos work in group just like a gang does. Never an "I" plays along, always plays with other psychological affine egos. For example, can be associated lust and gluttony. The "I" according Age The "I" with more age gets denser, stronger. The "I" as it is gregarious with the time gets more and more. Childhood The child can cry due hungry, but that he can be too due egos get around looking for the proper time to get inside the new physical body. Puberty Here get inside egos from previous existences. Sex; new and more aggregates and it is created the psychological country. Youth One more time more egos get inside according the age. The "I" wants to outstanding. Adulthood Other "I"; fear to future, look for security, business, better jobs, enough of sex, affairs, and so on. Oldness Sadness, humiliation, and so on Baltazar Gracian Spanish writer said "Man is an emblematic animal"
Self Observation Self observation must be directed forward inside. Unfortunately, we are turned outside completely. That attention must be directed forward the particular psychology each one has and that is very particular. Exploration Who does not observe self loose all. Who left self and only observe others is doing a tremendous mistake besides is loosing time. Exploring inside is the path forward inside. Exploring knows our own emotions, habits, sentiments, thoughts. Obstacles For observation and exploration our biggest problem is myth many. All of us have that in more or less grade. Self observation is a sense just like smell is, or hearing, or sight. Myth many is basically a grandiose delirious. That is an ego that make us to believe the "I" is the Being. Also it is an obstacle the idolatry; the adulation of the ego. The person idolatrous himself; loves too much. Also, the paranoia is an obstacle; self sufficient, personal pride, even mystic pride, and so on. All of that halt us to turn our sight inside us.
To know and to observe are two different things and easy to misunderstand. For example, I know am in a chair - to observe is to see its form, its relation with my person, and so on. Going deep with the observation is to meditate on that until to see its atoms. Other example, I know I am pride, but to observe my pride it a different matter. To know "attention not leaded" is passive action. To observe "attention leaded" is active action. Think versus Observe To think is not either to observe. To think I have egos is not to observe them. Concerning meditation is observation. Speculation is not to observe. Observer and Observed Who observes have to divide between observer and observed. Observer is what we have of essence. Observed is the personality and the egos. Going far in the observation we will notice that this belongs more to the consciousness than to us. The Observation of the Centers The essence has to get separated from the centers where the ego is. In the intellectual center could be justifications; suspicion, compare, interior chatting, abuse of the alike, and so on. In the emotional center could be unsatisfied, continuous states of decay, hate, anger, attachments, sadness, antipathies, and so on. Concerning habits could be of ways to look, eating fast, gestures, was of doing things, wrong instincts, sexual fantasy, intellectual lust could be the ideal woman, this in the sexual emotional we think is sublime, and so on. Sex has different approach according the different centers. This could be fine more or less but make us to fall. States of the Ego Stereo Psyche The identifiable sates of the psyche are forward outside, and always depending of what is outside. Identification always is with the outside. The psyche is always pending and reflecting about the future. Neo Psyche The process of the ego is the bad secretary. We project due the wrong arrangement the ego does. Archaic Psyche Archaic means ancient. The ego has memory. There are regressive states. The ego consults files and records reviving the past with photographic and phonographic electronic messages. All of this is with the purposes to convince and keep us under its control.
